How to Password Protect your Browsing History on Google

Accessing a user's browsing history on Google allows you to delve into their privacy. Know, based on your searches, what worries you, what you are interested in and even some of your most hidden passions.

Because when you type in the search engine, you do it alone, far from prejudice, and you dare to ask about any topic.

How to Password Protect

Keeping track of the thoughts on the keyboard was, until now, as easy as consulting the search history. Before anyone's eyes, details appeared that the user might prefer to keep to himself.

That is why Google has incorporated a novelty and allows, from this week, to incorporate a password that encrypts the content of your walk through the network.

In this way, it offers an additional layer of security that allows the information stored in the "My Activity" section to be safeguarded.

The password protects searches, the history of the websites visited and that of the videos on YouTube from prying eyes.

How to limit access to your browsing history?

The users themselves have to ask for the password to be enabled because the new service does not come by default. How to do it?

These are the steps you have to follow to encrypt access to your transit through Google and its services.

Access the "My Activity on Google" section. Select the option «Manage verification of My Activity». A pop-up window will open with two options. Activate the one that says "needs additional verification." It is the first to appear.

Once you have done this, Google will require your usual password, which is the same one you use to access, for example, Gmail. Once you have done it, you will have shielded one more piece of your privacy.

Google will Open its First Physical Store this Year

Google will open its first physical store this summer, marking a new milestone in the expansion of the technology giant, which now also expands its branches at street level.

New York has been the city chosen for this new step forward for the company.

The election has not been trivial. Google has been linked to this city for more than two decades. The firm's landing will take place specifically in Manhattan, in the Chelsea neighbourhood, current headquarters of several company facilities where more than 11,000 employees work. "We see the store as a natural extension of our long commitment to the city," he maintains.

The news was shared yesterday by on the firm's blog "Today, we announced our plans to open Google's first physical retail store, it will be in one of the most important cities in the world: New York," the company celebrated.

Google has not offered a specific date for the opening of the store but has advanced that visitors "will be able to experience" the company's hardware products and services.

The retail space will make navigational devices available to you and offer a wide selection of products manufactured by Google: from Pixel phones to Nest products, to Fitbit devices, Pixelbooks and more.

In this way, the company follows in the footsteps of Apple, which years ago opted for the opening of stores in emblematic places, with a wide network already consolidated worldwide and converted, in some cases, even into a tourist attraction.

In the case of Google, expert personnel will also offer advice and guidance to those who visit the store asking for any details about their devices or any problem with the installation of programs or of a technical nature such as the breaking of the terminal screen

Vodafone will Raise its Fiber and Mobile Rates in July

The mobile bill will go up from July 15 for Vodafone customers. The company will charge three euros more per month to users who have contracted fiber and mobile services.

The company justifies the increase in the heavy investments required by the increase in confinement activity and the deployment of 5G

In this way, it will raise the prices of all the One Unlimited and Home Unlimited rates, which include both unlimited calls and data, by that amount.

It will not be the only increase. Each additional mobile line that is associated with the package will mean another euro and a half of additional costs.

The oldest fiber and mobile rates, contracted before April 2019, will suffer the same increase with the aggravating factor that the firm already increased these Vodafone One Mini, Super and Extra rates on November 15. So, customers were offered higher speed in fiber optics and the data associated with each line in return. This time there are no counterparts for the rise.

Vodafone justifies it by the heavy investments, exceeding 200 million euros, to face a rise in traffic of more than 65% during confinement.

Added to this is the deployment of the new 5G network and the purchase of radio spectrum that the Government plans to auction in the near future.

"Our goal is to always offer service levels with the best network quality, giving them continuous access to the latest technological innovations along with the highest coverage and best speed," defends Vodafone in a statement to its customers, informing them of the changes.

The update of the prices will not imply, however, the cancellation of the particular discounts that each client has agreed and that are currently in force.
